For me, the act of painting is a one-time event triggered by a desire to explore movement, changes and sounds of what seems like the reality of the canvas. As an artist, my creative journey is an intimate exploration of the complexities of existence, a journey that unfolds with each brushstroke and each moment of reflection. Painting, for me, is not merely a skill or a profession; it is a deeply personal and profound experience, akin to taking a breath of life itself. In my paintings, everyday objects, animals, people, and symbols converge in a kaleidoscope of imagery, each element imbued with its own narrative and significance. I am drawn to the transformative power of symbolism, to the way in which ordinary objects can take on extraordinary meaning when placed within the context of art.

Themes of belonging, family, humanity, loneliness, fear, death, violence, and more permeate my work, serving as a lens through which to explore the human condition.

Inspiration for my work comes from a myriad of sources – from the natural world with its infinite beauty and complexity, to the inner workings of the human psyche with its depths of emotion and thought. I am inspired by the works of past masters, by the rich tapestry of art history that spans the ages. But perhaps most importantly, I am inspired by life itself – by the endless cycle of birth and death, of love and loss, of joy and suffering that defines the human experience.

In recent years, my work has taken on a new urgency and significance in response to the changing realities of the world around me. Events such as the protests following “The Constitutional Revolution” actions Israel  and the October 7th horrible events have served as catalysts for introspection and reflection, prompting me to explore the societal and cultural upheavals that define our times.

Through my art, I seek to engage in a dialogue with the world, to provoke thought and reflection, to inspire empathy and understanding. I believe that art has the power to transcend language and culture, to bridge the gaps that divide us and connect us on a fundamental level. As an artist, I am committed to using my work as a means of fostering dialogue and promoting positive change in the world.
